Matt Caven Joins CPPI as Business Development Manager in Gainesville and Jacksonville

Gainesville, Fla. — Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) is excited to welcome Matt Caven as a Business Development Manager. In this role, Caven will spearhead efforts to identify and cultivate business opportunities across multiple markets throughout Florida, with a strategic focus on Gainesville and Jacksonville. 

With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate and business development, Matt will play a crucial role in creating, implementing, and fostering CPPI’s business development tactical plan. He has vast experience working with private companies, national corporations, and city, state, and federal government agencies as Tenant and Landlord representative, as well as Buyer and Seller representative. This, combined with Caven’s extensive background working with medical professionals, large medical institutions, and office users—both as a broker and as the Assistant Director of the Office of Real Estate for the University of Florida—will be instrumental in executing the company’s business development strategy. 

A cornerstone of Matt’s approach is building strong relationships through active listening and understanding others’ core needs. His track record of fostering open communication to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes aligns perfectly with CPPI’s mission. 

Matt has a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Public Relations from the University of North Florida and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate. He has actively participated in professional organizations like NAIOP, St. Vincent’s Shircliff Society, and StartGNV. Additionally, he is strongly committed to community service, volunteering, and raising funds for St. Vincent de Paul, Disabled American Veterans, First Coast YMCA, and several other causes. 

Having grown up and worked in Jacksonville for many years before relocating to Gainesville, Matt’s deep connections to both regions will further strengthen CPPI’s presence in these key markets.
