CPPI Recognized with ABC Excellence in Construction Awards

CPPI received three Excellence in Construction Awards from the First Coast Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) this year.

An Eagle Award was presented to the HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital team, and Pyramid Awards were presented for both the Marion County Freedom Public Library Expansion & Renovation and the University of Florida’s Flavet Park. These honors are a recognition of the commitment to excellence and quality shared by CPPI’s project teams and partners.

The HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital is a 90-bed, state-of-the-art facility completed on an accelerated 21-month schedule. Built on an active campus, the project required careful planning to maintain uninterrupted access to emergency services within the adjacent freestanding emergency department throughout construction.

The Marion County Freedom Library required a 24,000-square-foot expansion and an 8,000-square-foot Renovation to the existing space. The completed facility provides expanded collections and meeting rooms to improve access to education and collaboration; a new dedicated children’s learning area is also featured to create more opportunities for connection and community engagement.

CPPI’s work on the University of Florida’s Flavet Park project transformed underused campus grounds into a revitalized outdoor recreation hub. This new addition to the campus includes pickleball and volleyball courts, a putting green, pedestrian walkways, and other amenities and gathering spaces that encourage recreation and student life.

The ABC First Coast Chapter serves contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and associates in 11 counties across Northeast Florida.
