CPPI received an Award of Merit in the Educational Facilities category at the 2026 ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) Central Florida Excellence in Construction Awards. The award recognizes CPPI’s work on Orange Technical College East Campus, a new career and technical education facility for Orange County Public Schools. The project replaced and relocated the existing Orange Technical College campus to the former University 9th Grade Center site, adjacent to University High School.
The redevelopment included demolishing all existing buildings and constructing a modern campus designed to meet evolving instructional and workforce-training needs. The new facility primarily supports Information and Digital Technology programs, while also providing a replacement culinary program and specialized learning environments for students preparing for a range of careers.
Purpose-built classrooms and innovative labs with modern infrastructure give students the space and resources to develop real-world skills. The campus features technology and learning environments for information technology and cybersecurity, audio and visual production, film, and digital arts. Orange Technical College East Campus also offers programs in digital audio production, digital media and multimedia design, digital video technology, telecommunications and fiber optics technology, and enterprise network and server support.
