CPPI Promotes Jake Plein to Vice President of Preconstruction

Gainesville, Fla. – Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) is pleased to announce that Jake Plein has been promoted to Vice President of Preconstruction.

Plein will serve as a member of the company’s Executive Team to provide oversight for the preconstruction and estimating teams to drive the firm’s collaborative approach of leading projects from concept through completion. With more than 20 years of experience in construction operations, he will give an innovative focus to market trend analysis to guide the alignment of scope, scheduling, logistics, procurement, constructability, and budget to continue to enhance CPPI’s best value of delivery to clientele as the construction market fluctuates.

Since joining the firm in 2001, Plein has delivered a notable portfolio of projects to clients for the firm. A few of note include the South Bay Hospital Bed Tower Addition and Renovation, UF Health The Oaks Clinic and Surgery Center, the Harrell Medical Education Building at the University of Florida, and the Patel Center for Global Solutions at the University of South Florida. Plein has worked extensively with HCA Healthcare over the past 20 years and has delivered countless successful projects to more than 15 of the healthcare provider’s facilities.

Plein is a LEED Accredited Professional with Specialty in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C) and a Certified General Contractor. He is a graduate of Leadership Tampa Bay. He is a long-standing member of the Builders Association of North Central Florida (BANCF), currently serving on the Government Affairs Committee and as the City and County Government Liaison Vice-Chair. He is an alumnus of the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction.
