CPPI honored with three Eagle awards from ABC Gulf Coast
Tampa, Fla. – CPPI received three Excellence in Construction Eagle Awards and a Merit Award at the ABC Florida Gulf Coast Annual Awards Presentation Banquet on May 3rd. The awards recognized the following projects completed by CPPI: Santa Fe College Kirkpatrick Center Institute of Public Safety Expansion (Eagle), University of Florida Innovation Hub Phase II (Eagle), UF Health Springhill Primary Care Building (Eagle), and University of Florida IT Renovations (Merit).
The Santa Fe College Kirkpatrick Center Institute of Public Safety expansion included an addition to the existing building to house classrooms, labs, and scenario-based training facilities for law enforcement and emergency medical services programs. Programs offered at the center accommodate the growing need for skilled personnel in emergency medical services, law enforcement and corrections professions in Florida and nationwide.
The University of Florida Innovation Hub Phase II expansion created new lab spaces, offices, collaborative spaces, conference rooms, and light manufacturing spaces, doubling the size of the original Innovation Hub, which was also constructed by CPPI in 2011. Innovation Hub II is located just off the University of Florida campus and provides spaces for growing and expanding tech startup ventures.
The UF Health Springhill Primary Care Building involved the new construction of a three-story, 72,000 square foot medical building. The facility includes retail pharmacy space, medical offices, exam rooms, treatment rooms, and ancillary outpatient clinic functions.
The UF IT Renovations consisted of the renovation of 23,000 square feet on the second and third floors of a five-story office building located off the University of Florida campus. The renovations allowed the UF IT Department to consolidate several of their offices into one central location.
The Excellence in Construction Awards represent the highest level of achievement in construction and honor the gulf coast area’s most innovative and high quality construction projects, safety programs, and diversity programs.
