CPPI honored with ABC First Coast Eagle Award

Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) received an Excellence in Construction Eagle Award at the Florida First Coast Annual Awards Presentation Banquet on August 14. This year the event was virtual.

The award recognized UF Health The Oaks, a cutting-edge ophthalmology (eye specialties), otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat, including allergy) and audiology facility built into a 139,000-square-foot former Sears space in Gainesville.

CPPI, working with UF Health leaders and Brookfield Properties, the mall owner, moved crucial medical services into the heart of the community while invigorating Gainesville’s most popular shopping area with a distinctive, visually inspiring health care destination.

The Oaks includes 87 exam rooms, 15 procedure rooms including laser rooms, eight treatment rooms and 10 sound booths across the three practices. A surgical center for ophthalmology and otolaryngology procedures and a full-service radiology center recently opened in the facility as well.

The Excellence in Construction Awards represent the highest level of achievement in construction and honor the first coast area’s most innovative and high quality construction projects, safety programs, and diversity programs.
