CPPI honored with two Eagle awards from ABC Central Florida
Orlando, Fla. – CPPI received two Excellence in Construction Eagle Awards at the Central Florida ABC Annual Awards Presentation Banquet on October 20th. The awards recognize CPPI’s University of Central Florida Research I and Lake-Sumter State College South Lake Campus Nursing and Science Facility projects.
UCF Research I is a 109,575 square foot, three-story interdisciplinary research facility housing 78 labs, eight lab support rooms, 75 office spaces and over 6,500 square feet of conference and collaboration space. In addition to its Eagle Award, Research I also achieved LEED Gold certification and was awarded a COAA National Gold Award for project leadership.
Lake Sumter State College South Lake Campus Nursing and Science Facility is a 53,000 square foot, two-story lab facility housing physics, chemistry, biology, and computer lab spaces, with lecture halls on the first floor and a simulated nursing experience on the second floor. The facility develops workforce-ready nurses and healthcare professionals to serve the demanding needs of the surrounding community.
The Excellence in Construction Awards represent the highest level of achievement in construction and honor central Florida’s most innovative and high quality construction projects, safety programs, and diversity programs.
“CPPI is honored to receive an Eagle award for both our work at UCF’s Research I and LSSC’s Nursing and Science Facility,” said CPPI Vice President, Orlando Regional Manager/Principal Jason Morgan.
