CPPI Continues BANCF Leadership for 2022

January 18, 2022

Gainesville, Fla. – Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) brought in top honors and saw several employees installed into leadership positions at the annual Builders Association of North Central Florida (BANCF) Installation Banquet in early December. The organization, which represents the residential and commercial building industry, has a membership of more than 600 businesses, as well as their employees.

CPPI Project Manager Jennifer Lyons was installed as the 2022 BANCF president-elect. As the second-highest elected officer, Lyons will act as the Government Affairs Chairperson, keeping up-to-date with local, state, and federal policies while advocating for the community.  She served on the Executive Board as Treasurer in 2021.

At the event, Lyons was also awarded an individual President’s Award for her work as County Government Liaison Chair. Lyons has been an active BANCF member for 15 years serving on many committees and on the Board of Directors since 2015.

One of Lyons’s goals this year is to enhance awareness of the association and the many resources that come with its membership. “Communities and individuals thrive with connectivity. BANCF offers businesses and the people who make them up opportunities for enhancing skills, keeping informed of current events, building relationships across sectors, and giving back.  BANCF has been a tremendous resource for me as a resident of our community, in my career, and professional development.” said Lyons.

Jake Plein, CPPI’s Director of Preconstruction, was installed onto the 2022 Board of Directors of BANCF at the banquet. In this role, he will serve on the Government Affairs Committee and as the City Government Liaison Vice-Chair. Plein has served on numerous BANCF committees over the years since 2012, and on the Board of Directors since 2019. He has also been awarded various Spike Awards for his work with BANCF and the community.

“Not only does BANCF offer exceptional professional and personal development opportunities, but it also plays a vital role in keeping its members informed of the many moving parts within local government. This consistently keeps the community informed and out ahead of any changes coming down the pipeline. I’m honored to serve on the board to assist in the group’s efforts for another season,” said Plein.

CPPI has a long history of involvement with the association, and has had many past board members and presidents.
