CPPI completes West Florida Hospital Fifth Floor PICU renovation

June 21, 2019

Pensacola, Fla. – Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) recently completed its renovation of West Florida Hospital’s fifth floor Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The 6,045-square-foot renovation project created a new 6-bed PICU to the existing fifth floor.

The six-room PICU space underwent a full renovation, including new walls, ceiling, flooring, and bathroom locations. Renovation of the space also included a new roof top unit (RTU) on the roof of the hospital’s Southwest Patient Wing, feeding the second through fifth floors.

West Florida Hospital’s new PICU opened for patients on May 29th. CPPI has begun work on another renovation project for West Florida Hospital, which will provide cosmetic upgrades and add four additional patient rooms to the hospital’s pediatric wing.

Once both renovation projects are complete, the facility will offer general pediatrics, intensive care pediatrics, hematology, oncology, and a nine-bed pediatric infusion center for chemotherapy and other intravenous treatments.
