July 10, 2018

Gainesville, Fla. – CPPI recently completed the 24,000 square foot renovation of the University of Florida 720 Building. With design partners Walker Architects and Moses & Associates, CPPI renovated the second and third floors of the five-story building to provide new office and meeting spaces for the UF IT Department.

Highlights of the 720 Building’s new space include a new, energy efficient HVAC system for both floors and new directors’ offices, innovation labs, security system, A/V systems, and the addition of an indoor bicycle storage room. The building was designed and built with UF’s sustainability priorities in mind, achieving LEED Gold certification.

This renovation allows the UF IT Department to consolidate several of their office spaces into one central location. As a result, the IT team has streamlined their operations and boosted collaboration among staff.

The building is located at 720 Southwest 2nd Avenue, Gainesville, Florida, 32601.
