CPPI completes UCF Athletics additions as 2018 football season begins

September 10, 2018

Orlando, Fla. – CPPI recently completed the construction of the Garvy Center for Student-Athlete Nutrition at the University of Central Florida. The facility will provide meals and cater to the nutritional needs of UCF student athletes.

The Center includes a 2,700 square foot kitchen, a 5,900 square foot dining room, and additional space, totaling nearly 10,000 square feet. Thanks to its close proximity to the football stadium, Garvy will also provide food to press boxes during UCF football games, and has already fulfilled this role at the school’s first home football game on September 8th.

More than 400 student athletes represent UCF in a wide range of sports. The Garvy Center will improve efficiency and performance by assisting nutrition staff and the athletes in maintaining standard, nutritional diets.

In addition to the Garvy Center, CPPI upgraded various aspects of UCF’s Spectrum Stadium seating. The stadium now boasts 18 new covered loge seating boxes, and upgrades to the stadium’s existing cabana seating. CPPI also installed canopy structures at the previously existing south end zone cabanas, and constructed new cabanas on the field’s north end zone.

Seating boxes and cabanas provide a unique offering to football fans looking for premium seating options. Both types of seats provide rain coverage and shade to attendees.

“CPPI is proud to be part of the UCF community,” said CPPI Vice President, Orlando Regional Manager/Principal Jason Morgan. “We’re excited to help support the university’s growth by creating and shaping the ultimate fan experience at Spectrum Stadium,” Morgan continued.
