CPPI Completes New Hampstead K-8 School in Savannah

Savannah, Ga. – Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) recently completed the New Hampstead K-8 School for the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System.

This brand-new facility features more than 90 classrooms with various types of life skills labs, including a large art room with a kiln. Also on campus are athletic fields, a courtyard with three playground areas, a large cafeteria and common area with a performance stage, and a music sector with a band room, a choral room, and a drama room. Two administrative areas have been designed into the facility to support the elementary and middle school staff. A ground-mounted 50 kW solar array system was also installed to enhance energy efficiency.

The school also includes a walking path and observation deck, as well as an access road, which both connect the property to its neighboring New Hampstead High School, creating a campus-like atmosphere. A new parking lot features more than 170 parking spaces.

With more than 175,000 square feet, the New Hampstead K-8 School will add a capacity of 1,500 students to the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System. Welcome, Nighthawks!
