Bo Diddley Plaza Improvements Now Complete in Downtown Gainesville
Gainesville, Fla. – CPPI recently completed improvements on several sections of brick pathways at Bo Diddley Plaza in downtown Gainesville.
The pathways – one between Southeast First Avenue and the stage, and the other, west of the stage near Southeast First Street – had become uneven after the bricks settled, according to the City of Gainesville’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department.
New brick with a cast-in-place concrete base was added in all designated areas to improve safety and accessibility in compliance with the standards of the American with Disabilities Act.
