CPPI Celebrates Topping Out of UF Health Ocala Neighborhood Hospital
Ocala, Fla. – Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) and UF Health marked a major milestone on May 4 with the topping out of the UF Health Ocala Neighborhood Hospital.
This brand-new 150,000-square-foot facility will be located at NW Blichton Road and NW 35th Avenue Road, enhancing access to a variety of healthcare services and specialized clinic services within the community.
Situated prominently just off Interstate 75 on 28 acres, the three-story medical campus will feature an emergency room, an inpatient unit, an imaging center, surgery services, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation services, a pharmacy, food services, and medical offices. The site will also be master planned to allow for future growth.
“The new hospital is a natural addition that brings UF Health’s highly skilled physicians and sought-after health care to the heart of Marion County,” said David R. Nelson, M.D., senior vice president for health affairs at UF and president of UF Health, in a news release from UF Health when construction began.
CPPI has partnered with Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) and Covider Health on the project. The two firms have collaborated to offer a functional and efficient facility design, which will allow staff to flow between the emergency department and inpatient departments with ease and use inpatient beds as overflow.
