CPPI awarded Orange Park Medical Center Electrophysiology Lab contract
Orange Park, Fla. – CPPI was recently selected as the construction manager for HCA’s 13,600 square foot Orange Park Medical Center Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Addition and Renovation project in Orange Park, Florida.
The project will add two new EP labs, 10 prep/recovery rooms, four post-anesthesia care bays, and additional support space. Each EP lab will have a control room, share a computer room and will be sized to become future operating rooms. The project also includes areas of minor and major renovations in the existing Catheterization (Cath) Lab, and the addition of a rooftop penthouse.
The EP Lab addition will allow Orange Park Medical Center to perform more complex electrophysiology procedures, including 3D electrical mapping, ablations, and lead extractions. Renovations to the cardiac cath lab will provide a more efficient space to perform emergent and elective cardiac interventions.
Vinnie Moreschi, Vice President, Healthcare Division / Principal, spoke on CPPI’s continued relationship with Orange Park Medical Center, “CPPI is proud to have recently been awarded the Orange Park Medical Center EP Lab project. This marks yet another of many opportunities CPPI has had the pleasure of serving at Orange Park over the last 18 years. Orange Park Medical Center continues to be one of our very trusted partners.”
Construction on the EP lab began in May 2018, and is estimated to be completed in June 2019.
