CPPI awarded Collinsville optometry practice, The Eye Site, contract

Collinsville, Va. – CPPI was recently awarded The Eye Site design-build optometry office project for Collinsville’s Les Yeux, LLC.

The project involves the demolition of The Eye Site’s existing building and the design and construction of a new 3,600 square foot eye care facility. The new Eye Site will feature nine exam rooms, a contacts room, two pre-test rooms, a lab, office space, a break room, a dispensary and waiting area, and check-in and billing space.

The Eye Site’s new space comes after a fire rendered the practice’s original building unusable in September 2017. Practice partners Julie Brown, OD and Shannon Zollinger, OD turned the tragedy into an opportunity to start fresh with design and construction specific to their vision. The Eye Site practice was voted “Best Eye Care” in southwest Virginia in 2017 and 2018, despite their lack of a permanent facility. This new building will allow the space to match the practice’s reputation for high-quality eye care.

The Eye Site is located at 4244 Virginia Avenue in Collinsville and is estimated to be completed in late December.
