On Friday, August 21, CPPI joined team members from HCA Florida Healthcare to celebrate a major project milestone: the topping out of HCA Florida Canopy Oak Emergency!
Before gathering to sign the beam and watch it be placed, HCA Florida West Marion Hospital CEO Isaiah Zirkle took a moment to read tributes to the ER teams from patients about the impact HCA Florida Healthcare has had on them and their families. It was a touching reminder of why we continue working to expand access to emergency care in our communities.
The 11,000 SF facility is set to open in spring 2027 and will be a full-service, fully staffed emergency room ready to serve the community with the same capabilities as the emergency departments at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital and HCA Florida West Marion Hospital.
