CPPI and HCA break ground on Millenia Freestanding ER

July 12, 2018

Orlando, Fla. – On Wednesday, July 11th, CPPI and Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) broke ground on the Millenia Freestanding Emergency Room at 4052 Millenia Blvd. in Orlando, marking the ceremonial start of the project.

The Millenia ER will be a 10,280 square foot, one-story facility on a 1.63 acre site. Its services will include 24/7 emergency care, a dedicated trauma room, lab services, a pharmacy and a total of 11 beds. In addition to full-time staff, some medical residents from the University of Central Florida School of Medicine will work at the ER as they continue their education.

This freestanding emergency room follows in the footsteps of Orlando freestanding ERs under construction on International Parkway and in Baldwin Park, both of which are products of a continued partnership between HCA and CPPI.

Construction is set to begin on the Millenia ER this fall, and it is scheduled to open in early 2019.
