CPPI Begins Construction for Orange Technical College – East Campus Project

Orlando, Fla. – Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) is thrilled to announce the start of construction on the Orange Technical College – East Campus project. This innovative endeavor signifies a significant advancement in educational infrastructure within the Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) system.

The construction project involves the demolition of the former 9th Grade Center for University High School, ushering in a new era of progress. The site is located across the West Orange Trail from University High School. While the University High School main campus remains intact, the Orange Technical College – East Campus expansion introduces a groundbreaking facility tailored to high school students, further enriching educational opportunities.

Spanning an impressive 99,500 square feet across three floors, the new building is designed to accommodate up to 1,000 students. It encompasses five traditional classrooms, 18 state-of-the-art computer labs, specialized technical labs, a cutting-edge recording studio, and a dynamic motion capture lab, showcasing a commitment to fostering innovation in education. CPPI is partnered with DLR Group on the project.

With a focus on supporting the region’s educational landscape, CPPI is proud to contribute to the growth of the Orange Technical College curriculum. The project also introduces exterior enhancements to the campus, including a new drop-off loop, parking lot, and corresponding landscaping, enhancing functionality and aesthetics.
