CPPI Completes Daytona State College Nursing Center
Palm Coast, Fla. – On August 19, Daytona State College hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Flagler/Palm Coast Campus Nursing Center at the Alan Smolen Center, recently completed by Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI).
In partnership with DLR Group, CPPI transformed the vacant space, which was previously demo-earmarked, into a modern teaching and training Nursing Simulation program facility.
The remodeled 16,000 square-foot facility features upgraded classrooms, four nursing suites with monitor control rooms, a break room, and office space for faculty and staff. The interior, deck, and roof of the Alan Smolen Center were completely rebuilt.
This addition to Daytona State College increases the enrollment capacity of the nursing program from 30 students to 120, and will enrich the area’s healthcare community.
