CPPI Completes Expansion and Renovation of Pepin Academy New Port Richey Campus
New Port Richey, Fla. – Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) recently completed the Pepin Academy of Pasco County expansion and renovation project on the Academy’s New Port Richey campus.
The project added two new classroom buildings and a multi-purpose administrative building to its existing campus. Each of the new classroom buildings houses 11 classrooms. The multi-purpose administrative building features administration offices, a media center, and classrooms designated for art, music, science, and language and life skills. The life skills lab teaches students independence through training with household appliances and other daily living tasks.
Overall, the project adds the capacity for more than 300 students.
CPPI teamed up with Hepner Architects of Tampa, Fla. on the project.
Additionally, a renovation to a portion of the existing gymnasium that will feature a new warming kitchen and dining area is slated to begin in early 2021.
Pepin Academies was established in 1999 as a public charter school that serves students with specific learning and learning-related disabilities. Serving grades 3 through 12, Pepin Academies also offers a transitional, job-training program for students from 18 to 22-years-old. They currently serve more than 1,000 students with campuses in Tampa, Riverview, and New Port Richey.
