UF Health holds ribbon cutting ceremony for new Springhill Building III
Gainesville, Fla. – On Monday, July 30th, UF Health hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Springhill Building III, the latest addition to the Springhill healthcare campus on 39th avenue in northwest Gainesville.
Completed by CPPI over a month ahead of schedule, Springhill Building III is a 70,500 square foot medical office building that will provide primary care specialties, including internal and family medicine, and pain management and mental health services, with a focus on child psychiatry and psychology.
The building will also include an outpatient pharmacy and a clinical laboratory that will be utilized by both Springhill Building III and the original Springhill medical building onsite. The project also adds 248 parking spaces to the existing campus, a storm water management facility, and associated utility extensions.
The new outpatient pharmacy and clinical laboratory as well as the allergy, internal medicine and integrative medicine practices on the new building’s first floor are scheduled to open to patients on August 6th. The family medicine and pain medicine practices, as well as Senior Care, on the second floor will open their doors on August 13th, followed by the psychology and child psychiatry practices on the third floor August 20th, according to UF Health.
“We are here to serve the families of our community. We are here to provide outstanding quality clinical care and compassionate service that they’ve come to expect from UF Health. Practitioners will discover the benefits of a beautifully planned practice space, and how design and how the surroundings can enhance the patient care experience,” said University of Florida Chairman of Emergency Medicine, Physician-In-Chief of Emergency Medicine, and College of Medicine Interim Dean, Dr. Adrian Tyndall at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
“This is a 72,000 square foot building and it allows us to expand primary care services in a really modern, a really serene and welcoming environment, and it matches our sister building right next door,” Dr. Tyndall continued.
Springhill Building III is located in UF Health’s Springhill campus at 4197 NW 86th Terrace in northwest Gainesville.
