This project consists of the construction of a new state-of-the-art food bank designed to meet the needs of America’s Second Harvest and to serve the children, seniors, families, and individuals facing food insecurity in the twenty-one counties that they serve.
The food bank now occupies two buildings that contain ten loading docks at the warehouse, a volunteer area, a training room, a commercial kitchen, administrative offices, and plenty of room to increase its capacity to feed the future through programs such as Brown Bag for the Elderly, Kids Cafe, Mobile Food Pantry, Partner Market Place, and the School Pantry Program.
