T.W. Lawton Elementary School and Intermediate Learning Center and Addition

This project involved constructing a new Intermediate Learning Center and renovating existing buildings in phases on an active campus. The new learning center includes a cafeteria, kitchen, elevator, bathrooms, and ten classrooms. Building 1 received a secure lobby upgrade and a comprehensive HVAC renovation with VAV controls and new ductwork. Building 2 received new restrooms and a comprehensive HVAC renovation with VAV controls and new ductwork. The scope for Buildings 8 and 9 included a comprehensive HVAC renovation with VAV controls and new ductwork while Building 12 received new HVAC equipment. Improvements to the site included comprehensive underground utilities and upgraded storm, water, sanitary, and power systems necessary for the overall building addition. CPPI managed the conversion of the campus from outside air units to a chilled water system.
