HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital & Free Standing ER

This project consists of the construction of a new 90-bed hospital that will connect to a free standing emergency room built by CPPI. The facility will provide a vast array of services spread out across more than 195,000 square-feet. The hospital will consist of four stories with structure in place to support expansion to six stories in the future. The facility will contain surgery, a 30-bed rehabilitation unit, 54 Medical / Surgical Unit beds, 6 Intensive Care Unit beds, and Respiratory Therapy space. Support work will include the creation of more than 500 parking spaces and a mechanical penthouse of nearly 3,000 square-feet. The free standing emergency room facility contains exam rooms, pharmacy, resuscitation (trauma) room, imaging, offices, lab, and associated support spaces.
